Learning Goal: Students will learn healthier ways of dealing with feelings that are new and/or frequent.
Activity #1: Graffiti Feelings Frenzy
Student will be group into four or five tables, given markers, and a large sheet of blank paper. Each table will have a different feeling or emotion and students will rotate through until they have put graffiti on each piece of paper at each station. Students will begin their first station with 5 minutes and increments will decrease by 1 minute as they move through the rest of the stations. Stations will include;

Activity #2: Debrief Graffiti Findings
Discuss the findings of the graffiti exercise. Are there certain patterns that emerge? How are we expressing our feelings as a class? Is there a healthier, more safe way of doing so?
Activity #3: Create a Comic
Create a comic strip illustrating why people choose not to express or manage their feelings. Include suggestions for handling these feelings. Submit your Comic Strip to your teacher as Journal Entry #1 for Unit 2.
