When I was young I played in the sandbox, tree forts, at the barn, and mostly at the arena. One Christmas morning, my brothers and I opened up a gift that not only changed our lives, but redirected the course of humankind everywhere; the original Nintendo. This was the beginning of my digital (2D), life. 20 years have passed since this day and now I feel pressured to be Facebooking, Tweeting, Snapchatting, Googling, LinkedIn, Foursquaring, Vining, or whatever new and crazy social media is available (5 years ago many of the verbs I used were non-existent, perhaps some of them are and I've just coined some new words for Webster's).
Aside from social media, we are all readily avialable at any moment, in any place (depending on the wifi...so annoying). Like it or not, technology has become one of the most important aspects of our daily lives. While technology is great and can keep us connected with friends, family, and the rest of the world, we must be careful and be aware of how we utilize it! Show up to Computers 9 and learn the "Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" about computers and technology, you also get to be on a computer for most of the class! "So go ahead, make my day", and show up!
